Ms. K.V. Lakshmi is an Artist and Performer of Kuchipudi and Bharata Natyam of par excellence. Her dedication towards dance knows no bounds. She has deep love for the art of Dance. Her dedication towards Kuchipudi and Bharat Natyam impresses many students. She possesses all the qualities of a good teacher. Teaching dance is her passion and every student is inspired by her teaching style. Really she is a true guru, respecting Our Guru Kula tradition. She is a women of high achievement and  leaves no stone unturned till she reaches the goal.

 

    Behind this simple but high thinking teachers there are many stalwarts who have shaped her personality like Smt. Uma Sampath w/o Dr. D. Y. Sampath Kumar as her original guru. She had learnt the intricacies of dance from Akella Shanti Shastri who hails from first Kuchipudi tradition family backgroun . Pasumarthi V.V.Jagannath from Kuchipudi Kalakshetra, Visakhapatnam have contributed to her talent.

 

   Now, she is the principal and secretary of Natraj Music and Dance Academy, Visakhapatnam. The institution is leading towards excellence and glory by her leadership and direction.

 

    She had directed dance ballets like Maha Vishakha Vaibhavam, Chenchu Lakshmi Narasimha Kalyanam, Sankranthi Sambaralu, Bhagiradha Villasam, etc. She had directed many short dance Ballets despecting Lord Krishna , Rama and Shiva. She had Participated in many dance festivals at National Level. She is a choreographer of par excellence. She is one of the best dance teacher in Visakhapatnam, the city of destiny. Her life has been dedicated for the promotion of classical Dance and Music.
